Youth Entrepreneurship
Development Program (Youth-EDP)
The Youth Entrepreneurship Development Program (Youth-EDP) is a structured, impact-driven initiative designed to equip young people with the entrepreneurial competence, business intelligence, and innovative mindset required to build sustainable ventures and drive measurable economic transformation. The program responds to the urgent need for youth economic empowerment by shifting participants from job-seekers to solution-creators and value-builders within their communities.
Youth-EDP empowers participants to identify real societal problems, generate viable business ideas, and translate those ideas into practical, scalable enterprises. Through a blended learning model that combines mentorship, expert-led workshops, enterprise simulations, and hands-on project implementation, participants develop critical competencies in financial literacy, opportunity analysis, strategic planning, branding, operations management, and ethical leadership.
Beyond technical business skills, the program cultivates resilience, creativity, collaboration, and disciplined execution — core traits necessary for long-term entrepreneurial success. Participants are guided to design sustainable business models, conduct market research, prepare financial projections, and pitch their ventures with clarity and confidence.
By the end of the program, participants are equipped not only with a business idea, but with the mindset, structure, and support network to launch and sustain impactful initiatives. Youth-EDP ultimately fosters a generation of economically empowered, socially responsible young leaders positioned to stimulate job creation, strengthen local economies, and contribute meaningfully to national and global development.
